International Shipping Policy and customs, duties, and taxes.

Arcadia Natural is not responsible for any customs restrictions, tariffs, or other regulations that may apply at Customs in any country. Any duties or taxes that may apply are your responsibility. If you have questions, we encourage you to speak with your customs office, although we will ship any products you order to the address you provide.

We will do our part and follow the exact directions in your order. We will ship your order to the exact address that you provide. Please keep in mind that once an order has shipped, we cannot change the address information on an international order. Errors here could cause delivery delays or rejection.

If for whatever reason the package is seized by Customs officials, we will not issue you a refund unless all products are returned to us in their original condition. The vast majority of orders make it through customs without any problems, and most orders that are stopped are automatically returned to us. You may be responsible for any return shipping charges.

Incorrect shipping addresses and refused delivery

We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid address by USPS. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address, the order will be canceled and refunded.

Arcadia Natural will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.

Damaged, Missing, or Stolen Shipments

When you receive a dented box or open a package to find broken items. Take pictures to document the condition of the delivery when it arrives — Contact Arcadia Natural immediately. Hang onto any enclosed packing slips and return labels.

Photos of the damaged item

  1. A photo showing the damaged merchandise, inside the original box, with all of the original cushioning (the picture should show the placement of the merchandise and packing material used inside the box)

  2. A photo of the packing material used inside the box (e.g. bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts, cardboard dividers, etc.)

  3. A close-up photo of the shipping label with the tracking number (please zoom in enough to read the tracking number.

If you didn’t receive your order, but the shipping carrier reported that it was delivered.

We suggest checking a few other places around your address to potentially locate your missing package. Most of the time, letter carriers place packages in an unexpected area at the delivery address; maybe they can’t access the front porch for whatever reason, or there’s a vicious guard dog that won’t let them into the gate (yes, this happens!). A few places you can look for your package are:

  • The front door

  • The back door

  • Inside your mailbox or a cluster of collection boxes

  • In your apartment building’s common area or package storage room

  • A neighbor’s house

Contact the shipping carrier directly.

Since 98% of our packages are sent by USPS, you should contact them before you do anything. We recommend that you visit your local post office or try to speak directly with the mailman who services your area; if anyone can provide some insight about a delivery, it's your mailman!

Submit a Missing Mail Search Request

Another option is to submit a missing mail search request to the USPS. Since USPS recalls old package tracking numbers every 6 months, sometimes USPS will incorrectly mark a package as "delivered". In this case, submitting a missing package search request can "activate" the package tracking number in the USPS database.

Ask USPS for a GPS location.

The USPS keeps GPS information for every package they deliver. Every time the USPS does a final delivery scan of a package, their database captures the exact GPS information! The GPS will show exactly where the package was delivered, not necessarily where it was supposed to be delivered. When you provide them with the package's tracking number, USPS will be able to tell you the GPS location where they scanned and delivered the package, within a 6-foot radius. This may help narrow your search!
